Booking & Usage Policy
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your session date and time. Deposits may be paid via Cash, Cash App, Apple Pay, PayPal, or Venmo. Appointments requested without a deposit are not guaranteed and may be canceled. A 24-hour grace period is provided to submit the deposit after booking; if the deposit is not received within this timeframe, the appointment may be canceled at Media By Dawud’s discretion. Payment of the deposit constitutes agreement to all Media By Dawud policies and terms. For collaborations or creative projects with no monetary compensation, Media By Dawud retains full ownership and usage rights to all photo and video content and may use the media at any time and in any manner. By booking with Media By Dawud, you grant an irrevocable and unrestricted right to photograph, film, and/or record you, and to use the resulting media across all platforms, including but not limited to digital media, social media, advertising, and promotional materials.
Payment & Lateness Policy
All sessions must be paid in full prior to the shoot date or immediately after the session via Cash, Cash App, Apple Pay, PayPal, or Venmo. Checks are not accepted. If full payment is not received, final images will not be delivered until payment has been made in full. Clients who arrive more than 15 minutes late will incur an additional $50 late fee. Session end times will not be extended to accommodate client lateness.Until full payment is received, Media By Dawud retains full rights to the media and may use the content at their discretion.
Cancellation, Rescheduling & Liability Policy
If you are unable to attend your scheduled session, the deposit will be treated as a cancellation fee. A minimum of 72 hours’ notice is required to either apply the deposit as a credit toward a future session or receive a 50% refund of the deposit.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled session are non-refundable; however, the client may reschedule once at no additional cost, subject to photographer availability, within three (3) months of the original session date.
Media By Dawud reserves the right to deny future bookings to clients with a repeated history of late cancellations or no-shows.
If Media By Dawud is unable to perform services due to fire, casualty, strike, act of God, illness, emergency, or any circumstance beyond reasonable control, all payments made (including the deposit) will be refunded, and Media By Dawud shall have no further liability. This limitation of liability also applies in the event of loss or damage to photographic materials due to equipment malfunction, processing errors, or unforeseen circumstances beyond the photographer’s control.
In any event, Media By Dawud’s total liability shall be limited to the total amount paid by the client.
